It's great that he is able to actually drop us inside of some of the buildings, and it always involves stopping at some place for a little goodie to eat.

This is not about being a tourist, it's about the 'real' Rome. With... maps, video and historical photos... the information is presented very informally and effectively and the tour length is less than one hour - so it doesn't eat up a whole afternoon!
